Idyllic boat trip, history and culinary delights: the company outing to Central Switzerland
Last Sunday we gathered in the early hours of the morning for the annual profilsager ag company outing.
Our journey began in Dürrenäsch in bright sunshine. From here a car then took us to Lucerne, where the brunch steamboat was already waiting for us. During the 2.5-hour trip on Lake Lucerne, we enjoyed the picturesque landscape and let ourselves be spoiled by a rich brunch. The view was breathtaking and the rich brunch offer left nothing to be desired.
When we had solid ground under our feet again, we were welcomed by two city guides who sent our group on two different adventures. One group explored the Musegg towers, while the other ventured into the heart of Lucerne to marvel at the wonders of the Kappel Bridge, the Jesuit churches and colourful façade paintings.
On the way back to the Seetal in Aargau, we stopped at the Seehotel Sonne on Lake Sempach. There we were treated to cool drinks and delicacies. A refreshing dip in the lake was also not to be missed - either with a footbath or, for the brave ones, a jump into the water.
It was undoubtedly an unforgettable day full of adventure, laughter and culinary delights.
