Handrails
At Leytron Primary School in Valais, the staircase was fitted with a promano HL02 handrail cover from profilsager. The special RAL 8014 colour was selected to complement the existing staircase, allowing the handrail to blend harmoniously into the design of the school building.
Safety and functionality are particularly important in the day-to-day use of a school building. The ergonomic shape provides both children and adults with a secure and comfortable grip when using the stairs. The plastic cover also offers a pleasant contact temperature and an easy-to-grip surface.
The project demonstrates how a functional solution can be successfully integrated into the architecture: safe, suitable for everyday use and colour-matched to its surroundings. The professional installation was carried out by Corrimano Color.
